Director Kunstmuseum Stuttgart
"Following on from Marion Ackermann I have enjoyed continuing cooperation with the aed since 2010, as I have been interested in crossborder projects
and interdisciplinary thinking since at least the time of my studies in Art History, Musicology and Ethnology, and this is precisely what the aed stands for. In close cooperation with the aed
lectures have been held at the Stuttgart Art Museum over the past few years on themes including 'The laid table. Foodrelated Design', 'Graphic Design in Comics, Novels and Animations' and
'Where's the Difference? Architects, Designers, Artists' in parallel with our exhibition 'Eat Art - On Eating in Art', 'Michel Majerus' or 'Gego. Line as Object'. Right now I am looking forward
to the aed event 'Order and Chaos - Designers in Discussion' as part of our currentlyrunning exhibition '(Un)expected. The Art of Coincidence. With some of the previous speakers and their
companies exciting collaborative projects have also been developed. Therefore, I say: thank you and carry on the good work, aed!"
