The Event Media studio production offered visitors an interactive experience space on the topic of synaesthesia during the summer semester 2018. Synesthesia describes the phenomenon of double stimulation of the senses. A medial translation of sound, color, form, movement and image takes place. The interactive room installation allowed visitors to experience the special kind of perception holistically. Eight students from the degree programs Audiovisual Media and Media Industry jointly created a multimedia room. For this purpose, they used endless mirrors, an interactive LED floor, gesture recognition and three-dimensional sound and light effects.
»Synesthesia« – a multi-media, interactive experience space which impresses due to its holistic, whole-body interaction concept. New interactive concepts are perceptible in intuitive, playful and inspiring ways. An emotional and sensual interaction which is both conceivable and desirable as an inspiration for definite applications. Joy-of-use and natural interaction are the main focus.
